Bavarian, cosy, traditional – and full of life: in our traditional Munich restaurant, the brewer´s room, the lion roars daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m..
Typically Bavarian delicacies and varied daily meals are served with Löwenbräu beer specialties.
Due to the extensive renovations during the summer 2008, our restaurant has become much friendlier and brighter and also features a great number of technical innovations. Up to 350 guests can either sit in the traditional-style public bar area or in the more elegant and high-quality part of the restaurant. And for groups of all sizes appropriate premises are available, such as cosy little side rooms and separate small rooms. During the summer up to 1.000 visitors can also enjoy getting together the Bavarian way under old shady chestnut trees in our famous traditional beer garden.
The Löwenbräukeller offers all this – namely a cosy little place for everyone.

    Thank you for a pleasant evening. We wish the kitchen could be open later on the weekends. We were not expecting the orders to be delivered 'family style'. This cause some confusion for the foreign guests.

    Klassisches bayrisches Lokal, groß und temperamentvoll:) So etwas weiß man, daher für uns völlig ok. Wir waren froh, dass wir einen Tisch im „Türmchen“ hatten-dadurch für Unterhaltung am Tisch einfach leiser. Portionen von der Größe ok, aber nicht großzügig. Qualität für diese doch ‚Massenabfertigung“ gut. Highlight waren die sehr sympathischen Musiker <3

    Das Essen war gut und kam super schnell, leider war unser Tisch für 10 viel zu klein, sodass wir wirklich ungemütlich saßen. Die Zuständige Servicekraft war unfreundlich und gar nicht aufmerksam. Das Essen stand bereits auf dem Tisch, aber die Hälfte der Kollegen hatte noch kein Besteck. Und das alles obwohl wir um 17.30 Uhr schon da waren, d.h. es war noch kaum was los. Wir werden nicht noch nochmal kommen, weder privat noch mit der Firma. Die Eisstockbahnen draußen waren aber super, das hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Liebe Grüße

    Table for four, great food, great beer, lively atmosphere and fab German trip band playing as well. 10-min walk from main station. Would highly recommend as not as busy as the hoffbrauhaus

    We had an awesome time. The beer was so fresh and tasty that we had to have a second lol. The food was very traditional and very good. I would highly recommend this place!

    Jedes Klischee erfüllt. Im sehr sehr positiven Sinne. Richtig bayrische Kultur und Ambiente. Sehr schön und gerne wieder. Getränke bestellt und nach 2 min direkt am Tisch gehabt. Essen kam 5 min nach Bestellung. Wir hatten noch nie schneller eine Bestellung am Tisch. Sehr aufmerksamer Service dazu
