Always excellent food, drinks and service… and $15 corkage is a nice bonus! Just beware of the $21 martini when you name your Vodka! The house spirits will do just fine next time!

I eat here all of the time. This meal, I ordered the short ribs. They were incredibly tough, I had to use a knife and that was difficult. I told the waiter, he took my plate and at that point I didn’t want a replacement. He apologized, offered us a free dessert which was nice. My assumption was that the meal would be credited. It was not. Yes we had a free dessert but my meal should have been comped. I am really stumped as to why he’d think it was ok to charge us for a meal I didn’t even eat. Had I known when the bill was paid I would have objected. I didn’t even want a dessert. Maybe review these types of incidents with staff. He could’ve done better.

Reservation was made on line. Received a confirmation request the day before. We were seated immediately, wait staff was immediately taking our order. The food was delivered quickly. Although they were busy, they were very organized. No frantic atmosphere. Very relaxing...and the food was fantastic. Yes, I would recommend Waterside. They seem to have their act together. At least that was the case on thanksgiving.

Service and food keep me coming back. Great ambience in the courtyard under the heaters. Place was packed for good reason. My favorite place for date night or family dinner. The staff treats everyone like Royalty. You guys do it right! If I’m spending money to dine out, this is my first choice in Ventura.

All in all, it was a lovely dinner. The food was very good and the service was amazing. Our issue was we want a corner table and was told it was only for a party of five and we were party of four. As it turned out, they sat a party of four at the table we had wanted originally. Oh well. It was very loud and we could barely hear our dinner companions. We would definitely dine there again.

Everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff was delightful. It was our first time at Crawfords and we were very pleased. It was a birthday happy hour and we tried almost everything on the menu. The drinks were delicious as well as the food. I definitely will be going back!

It was fantastic! They were soo busy so the food took a little longer than usual but the manager came to our table to tell us and then they brought us a free dessert!
