Mex Taqueria & Bar is literally located in Technology Square area of Cambridge, MA where I grew up. Nice to finally see this area of Cambridge growing and thriving with eateries, restaurants, and more. It's been a very long time coming!
The ambience at MT&B was wonderful. We booked our reservation for Valentine's Day, and was very surprised to be seated within 10 mins especially on a very busy evening. We were seated on the 3rd floor where we got to enjoy the views of the city in an intimate setting.
Our waiter (soooo sorry I forgot his name) was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating with the questions we had, recommendations, and he checked in on us at perfect times to ensure we were okay.
The food was delicious! The Esquite Street Corn was amazing, the Al Pastor tacos were yummy... and I absolutely LOVED the Mex Pina Colada. I had ordered the watermelon strawberry margarita first but didn't like but my daughter rather enjoyed. Our waiter was very accommodating -- and I can say, I have never had a pina colada like this one before... and it was PINK! Hats off the the chef, the waitstaff and the bartender. We really enjoyed our dining experience at Mex Taqueria & Bar and will definitely return again soon. We look forward to dining outside in the summer on your roof top. ( M )
