Local Wine & Kitchen is the Main Line's newest wine bar and restaurant. Located in the heart Ardmore and opened in August 2014, Local offers a laid-back atmosphere with a passion for good food, wine and cocktails!

Our free flow kitchen focuses on utilizing the best local ingredients, while making dishes that are creative & innovative. In addition, our bar focuses on our love for wine, and strong craft cocktails. On your next visit- dine family style with us, and enjoy everything that Local has to offer!

We are open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner only.

Lovely experience all around. Ambiance was wonderful and not too loud. Food was outstanding- and waiter was extremely knowledgeable. Cheese plate was delicious. Lamb lollipop amazing and very tasty pasta. Cocktails were creative. Really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience!! We were kindly welcomed with our family of 6 including 4 kids. We did an early seating (545) and were the only table with kids but it wasn’t busy til we were finishing. Our kids love charcuterie, and this place cannot be beat for charcuterie! We have a couple vegetarians also and the non meat dishes are incredible! Also, the chai old fashioned is reason enough to come here. Can’t wait to return!

We had not been to Local for several years, having stopped because the service had become so uneven. So last night we took a chance and were delighted to say that service was much improved and the food quite good. We decided that we would be returning in the future.

What a gem in Ardmore! Such high quality food and delicious wine!! It’s a high end farm to table restaurant but in a more relaxed atmosphere, a winning combination. Plenty of gluten free options. The portions are not tiny like traditional “sharing plate” restaurants. We can’t wait to go back and bring friends!!
