One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in long time! Food was superb, authentic, flavorful, freshly prepared, attention to detail.. loved every bite. We ordered one cold plate, one hot plate & one large plate which was plenty for 2 people. We appreciated peaceful music while we ate !! - Ala experience was unlike the typical “ have to shout to hear you” kind of place most restaurants serve up today. Server was lovely sweet & attentive. 100% recommend.

Another delightful Thanksgiving dinner at La Bise. It was a toss-up as to which starter was better: the roasted leeks with sauce beurre blanc or the pate de foie gras. The mains, turkey roulade and steak frites, were their usual excellent offerings. And the desserts, pumpkin mousse pie and carrot cake were decadent endings. The staff was attentive and willing to substitute sorbet for dessert for one of our group who (wisely) realized he'd be too full to enjoy cake or pie. We'll have to find an opportunity to return before next Thanksgiving!

Truly delicious food in lovely setting. Enjoyed a leisurely lunch. The tables are a bit too close to one another, so when they fill up, you can find yourself bumping into (or getting bumped by) fellow diners. You might expect this at a popular (for good reason) restaurant, but at times it disrupts an otherwise lovely experience. This also leads to servers being a bit over taxed by having to tend to too many customers at once, and we had to ask multiple times for drink refills or missing cutlery. To be fair, this was not the fault of the server, just the nature of the situation. Highly recommend Rumi’s Kitchen, though sharing these experiences in case it helps others know what to expect during peaks hours when the restaurant is full.
