The food and service was great. Unique dishes that were very well prepared. They were able to accommodate my wife’s soy allergy without a problem. The location a short walk from the DuPont Circle Metro station is a plus.

Chaplin's Executive Chef and Partner, Myo Htun, is originally from Burma, but was cooking ramen in Japan at a young age. I’m so impressed with this quiet little gem of a restaurant! This was my and my husband’s second time having Ethiopian food, and our first was 25 years ago. Das is located on a side street in Georgetown, with a great view of M st. The food is absolutely delicious! We started with the shrimp tibs, I had the veg sampler and hubs had chicken infillay. Service was impeccable, vibes elegant, and the whole experience was perfection. A must do!

Food was great as always but the service was subpar. We had to ask several times for our water to be replenished. At the end he asked us if we would like dessert, which we then ordered and he came back to say the kitchen was closed (it was only 9 pm even though their website says 10 pm for Thursdays).

This was my second time dining here. It’s 5 stars on every level. Parking is easy. The staff is exceptional. The restaurant esthetics are beautiful. It’s comfortable and feels very private. The food is outstanding…presentation to flavor.

Rappahannock Oyster Bar (Wharf) occupies the restored historic oyster shed (circa 1912) building at the Municipal Fish Market (the oldest fish market in the United States). The restaurant serves a line up of small plate offerings, wines, craft beers, unique cocktails, and of course, our very own celebrated shellfish.

First visit to see my stepdaughter in DC. The restaurant is a lttle off the beaten path, small and relatively intimate. There was a separate room with a large group celebrating so it was noisy. We all found the food delicious. Boys had the veal chop, my wife had the branzino, my daughter had the ravioli and I the pork tenderloin. The table shared tortellini. The wine I chose from the menu they did not have and substituted another unfamiliar to me. The waiter seemed to be having a bad day so service was average. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend for the food.

A great brunch: the best lemon ricotta pancakes (based on sampling my companion’s) and bagel with smoked salmon I’ve ever had, along with mixed berries, a delicious Bellini and freshly squeezed juices. Portions are generous and attractively presented, service is terrific (attentive and courteous), and the dining room is attractive and light-filled. I’m inspired to return for dinner as well as brunch!
