The food was excellent. The waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. There was live music - a guitarist-vocalist and drummer. We have been dining at La Rosa for 10 years on our annual stay in Miami the evening before flying to the Caribbean. They have remained excellent and we plan to return.

The chicken parm was great but the penne had no flavor whatsoever. The bruschetta was also pretty bland and not that great. The bread was harder than it should be. However, the house bread was delicious!!! The service was also excellent.

What an amazing time we all had from start to finish! Service was great! Drinks were awesome! The place is gorgeous, I mean you seriously MUST see, especially the bar! Wow! I had smoked brisket tacos and they blew my socks off!! Awesome experience. Took my kids because they wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. Everyone enjoyed the food. The bacon is the best with both of the sauces. My son and I had the steak sandwich with fries and we agreed it was really good, my other son had the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich and he said it was very good. They even gave me a free dessert for my birthday which was very unexpected but very nice. My son (who said he was full), ate about 90% of the brownie with ice cream dessert. He says it was incredible. Awesome meal all around. Service was great.

The service was amazing. The hostess (didn’t get her name, but her bangs were on point) was super friendly as was the door man. Our server, Gokhan, and his assistant were attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and were great at anticipating our needs. They noticed what we needed before we even knew we needed it. The NY was cooked perfectly. The Brussels spouts and mashed potatoes were rich and flavorful. Make sure you ask about the portion sizes of the sides! The mashed potatoes were enough for one, but the sprouts were enough for three people. This was my first time going, and I will absolutely be back the next time I am craving a good steak.

We chose Don Jorge's at the last minute as there were not a lot of choices on a Saturday night. The reviews looked good, so we gave it a try. We are so glad we did! If you like Tex-Mex food, this is the place to go. There was a DJ that also sang and had a surprisingly good voice. The decor is simple yet clean. And the food was great. Everything we tried was perfect including the freshly made salsa. If you are in the mood for Tex-Mex, I would highly recommend Don Jorge's!

Food is okay a little price for what is it’s. But you will have a good idea of Cuban food not the most authentic. If you go over over the weekend be advise they have live music which is a delight but it’s so loud you can’t talk at all! The acoustics of the restaurant aren’t meant to be for a live salsa performance band.

This was our first visit to The George (but not to downtown). We wanted to elevate our meal to celebrate our daughter's college Masters graduation. Our group of six did have a reservation in advance. Arrival was smooth, and we were seated promptly. It was a busy Saturday lunch setting. The service start was slightly delayed, but once greeted, we had our attendant's regular attention to ensure we were all set. We enjoyed sharable appetizers. The Brie dish was delicious, with amazing roasted garlic. The Crab Dip was warm and tasty. Calamari is always a challenge, yet the Calamari dish had excellent dipping sauces with some heat. Kudos to the kitchen, as the entrees (Black Bass, Salmon, Catfish sandwich, and one outlier with salad and chicken wings) were primarily empty plates at the conclusion and two take-home boxes. Our group agreed there would be return visits.

First rate top to bottom. Service in all aspects second to none in region anywhere outside New York. Benny was locally born, just 22 years old yet obviously well trained professional. Menu included several rarely seen in other establishments outside this area. Not inexpensive, but worth the splurge for special occasions like our anniversary tonight. Will return again and again. The food was delicious as always. Services wasn’t as good as last time. We did a dinner for two and added an extra person so we were charged $100, which is fine, but you don’t get nearly $100 in food extra. The menu says it’s “encouraged for more” but definitely doesn’t feel that way. When we asked for our extra side that came with it the server lied initially to us.

The food is top notch! Their Wednesday fried chicken special can’t be beat. And as if the quality of food served wasn’t enough, the staff is always kind, friendly, and on top of their game. There is female manager there that used to be a waitress there. I hate that I forget her name but I would know her face and level of service anywhere. I can’t say enough about this place.

We had a group of 8 in town for a football game. Matt was our server and did a great job. Three of us enjoyed a unique fig & black pepper old fashioned. Everyone’s food was delicious- fried shrimp, fish & chips, pizza, burgers (regular size & mini), salad, onion straws, salmon. We’ll remember it and hope to return.

Our server Steve was great. Super friendly and all of his suggestions were on point. The food was incredible and the vibes were nice. There were all kinds of people who were super dressed up or very casual so no one stood out. Very good experience will be back one day.

First time dining here. We were greeted immediately and taken to our table. It is a quaint older home and dining was on the back patio. Although a very hot day it was comfortable and cozy. The server was pleasant and engaging. The food was excellent , portion was satisfying and well presented. Choices are limited but varied. Would highly recommend The Spot.

Family and I enjoyed our dinner. We had a party of 10 including young children and chef was great interacting with our kids while he prepared the meal. Whole party must be present to be seated and there is an 18% gratuity automatically included. Otherwise, everything was good

It was the night of the fireworks and they were understaffed but did a great job of communicating and doing their best. The manager on duty was excellent, knew how to address the situation and be proactive with things. Food quality was good. Will definitely be back.

Our server, Brandon was amazing! Funny, personable and our food came out as we wanted. Great job! Steaks were perfectly cooked. Corn sides really tasty. Someone’s dessert awesome ! Fried foods very greasy. Coconut shrimp over done. Otherwise nice meal.

Had the chicken sandwich which had a little kick 😋 Fries were okay. Was little disappointed that they ran out of the beer my wife was having. Other than that it was okay. Band they had was good. Played 60s-70s music. I would come back as I saw other food I want to try.

While down at Fort Lauderdale Beach (visiting from Denver) a few months back we met up with family members and had a delightful meal at Casa Del Mare. This trip, we we’re celebrating a big anniversary with close friends and wanted to be sure the food and vibe would be great, so we returned to Casa Del Mare and we were not disappointed. For starters, it was absolutely teeming down with rain and we had concerns about the seating but hadn’t have worried as the venue was completely prepared with window tarps which kept us dry as a bone yet we still felt we were dining outdoors. The four of us chose meals ranging from seafood choices, beef and risotto and each dish was excellent with no complaints. We enjoyed cocktails and dessert as well and the attentive server made sure all of our dining needs were continually looked after all evening. It was such a pleasure to relax and enjoy delicious food, wine and good friends on our special night. We visit the area a few times a year and will be making Casa Del Mare a regular eatery on our visits. Do note on our party of 4 the gratuity was factored into our bill and we were not told ahead of time and only noticed it after we had started to add an additional tip which we had time to correct. This was the only thing we would have liked to have been brought to our attention ahead of time, but luckily we caught it.
