The dining experience at Enigma wows from start to finish. It begins with the striking interiors, lined with mosaic tiles that glitter like tiny jewels. Dishes feature seasonal ingredients, European techniques, and exquisite plating—all while showcasing chef Quinton Bennett’s passion for molecular gastronomy. The blind format tasting menu means that diners are treated to delightful surprises emerging from the restaurant’s open kitchen. It was great having Chef Bennet come out and introduce us to a dish. U can feel that the tasting menu is coming from Chef Bennett's Root (South Africa). The menu was very earthy and exciting from dish to dish. The Juice pairing that was offered was great as well.

This lush and quaint haven was once a pair of woodcutter’s cottages that date back to the 1860s. Today, the upscale French restaurant, a special occasion gem, remains a hidden paradise in an otherwise nondescript pocket of midtown Toronto. The rustic and homey decor is enhanced by pristine French fare that can be enjoyed a la carte or via a tasting menu. Decadent, celebration-worthy creations include Dungeness crab with celeriac consomme, sablefish with black rice, and yuzu, lemon, and white chocolate mousse for dessert.

This was my first time dining here and it was an amazing dining experience, even if pricey (but quality was worth it). Staff are friendly and professional - the food was sublime and the sommelier was very helpful. And the snow storm cleared up just in time to see the amazing views. Beautiful ambiance and good noise level. They also accommodated my teen to order from the lunch menu w steak frites. Perfect special occasion dining place!

We tried this place for my wife's birthday. I did not know it was a Michelin star restaurant before booking the table. Everything was amazing. Definitely give the cocktails a go as well if you are going here.

We had a lovely dinner on a Saturday. Very peaceful, the staff were amazing, took us around the restaurant and showed us the open area of the kitchen. Explained how things worked. They were all extreme polite and thorough with their work. It felt as though all the staff enjoyed working there which made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was amazing, even the parts we didn't absolutely love were still quite enjoyable because of how it was cooked and the way other flavours were incorporated. Thank you all for such a lively evening.

This restaurant, ideal for a splashy night out, is unabashedly luxe with its gilded accents, whiskey-inspired ceiling mural, and pristine marble bar. On the 31st floor of The St. Regis hotel, the space exudes opulence and the dishes follow suit. The food is a modernist blend of new French and American cuisines, displayed in plates such as burrata with roasted apricot, wagyu steak with parsley and garlic fingerling potatoes, and whole truffle chicken served two ways with truffle jus. Saving room for dessert is a requirement here: the 13-layer chocolate cake with hazelnut praline buttercream, is a straight-up show stopper.

Had new year brunch, a repeat of the Christmas Day brunch. The foods are great, the turkey is so good that I might eat it more often 🤣 (I used to consider turkey as punishment food). Overall a nice outing .

Set in the Fairmont Royal York hotel (one of Toronto’s grandest dames), the Library Bar regained its status as an iconic celebration spot after a 2021 makeover.
