We received great service from Bray, our server and great recommendations by the sommelier that has a lot of expertise. This is our second time in the restaurant and one thing that stands out is that every team member says hello very kindly with a smile.

We went to J Prime for their Christmas Eve Holiday Meal. It was a fixed menu, but there were ample selections to suit everyone's taste. Everything we had was delicious, & the Filet Mignon was tender, well seasoned, & practically melted in my mouth! The staff was superb & the serving of each course was like a well orchestrated ballet! We will definitely go back next year!

The Heights burger can be paired with hand cut French fries, crispy thin onion rings, homemade lemon-pepper potato chips or German potato salad. There is an outdoor patio under a canopy of oak trees that's shady and extremely popular with locals and visitors to San Antonio. The brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays features a menu of classic egg dishes, Texas pot roast, jumbo lump crab cake, seasonal "out of the blue" seafood entrees, entree salads, and Mustang chicken. Among the most consistently excellent restaurants we patronize. The quality of service stands out. Every server we’ve had is attentive, knows the menu intimately and makes us feel welcome. The food is great and favorite items are reliably as they were on previous visits. I am not a particularly adventurous eater so I find this a comforting attribute. Others may see it differently. Menu changes appear to be mostly limited to tinkering with sides or appetizers, so if you liked it the first time, you needn’t worry about being the victim of the whims of a chef seeking notoriety.

Another wonderful experience at Eddie V’s. My wife and I enjoyed our annual Christmas Eve lunch there. Our server Veronica was friendly and efficient. My wife said her lobster bisque was the best she has ever had. She had the Parmesan sole for her entree and loved it. I had the Norwegian salmon. I’m pretty particular about my salmon, and this was cooked perfectly. Eddie V’s is our go to restaurant in the San Antonio area for fine dining.
