First time for us at this restaurant but we will definitely be back. Beautiful interior and service was very good start to finish. Great choice of food and the quality was excellent and value for money.

Blackfriars is located in a 13th century medieval friary where it once served as the refectory for the Dominican friars, making it one of the oldest purpose-built dining rooms in the UK.

Fantastic meal with the best steak I’ve ever had, waiter was helpful and made excellent recommendations, food was fresh and plenty of choices on menu. Service was great and only thing is the venue when full is very noisy so was a bit hard to hear each other without talking louder! I will definitely be going there again.

Had an excellent meal at Chakhana. Food arrived very quickly , 3 courses completed in 1 hour 15. Last year I experienced an evening of slow service so a huge improvement, lots of very friendly and professional front of house staff too. Food was great! Only improvement could be a few more carbs on some dishes or recommending more sides. Filled up on the desserts! Great ambience.

We had to wait a little for our food but the guys working kept us informed and offered us a drink and discount for the inconvenience. The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Overall we had a lovely evening and would recommend.

Food was good especially steak night but thought t bone surcharge was high compared to ribeye or sirloin but overall good. We were near the bar and the bar and area seemed very cluttered with lots of none essential items and made the place look messy and disorganised. For a £200 dinner for 5 of us maybe a complimentary lemon cella/baileys would be appropriate. Thanks Roy

My wife and I went to Lavish for Valentine’s Day evening meal . It was our first visit to the restaurant. The service was Excellent! Yanik the gentleman who looked after us was very welcoming , friendly and a gentleman. We were given plenty of time to select our drinks and food. The food roast lamb was delicious and the portions were Generous. The rest of the menu looked equally inviting and we will certainly visit the restaurant again to try other dishes on the menu. All other staff were very friendly and were always smiling. The restaurant had made a great effort in decorating the place for Valentine’s Day. A wonderful evening. The food was exquisitely presented and every mouthful was a taste bomb. We had the 5 course menu which included lots of extras. The service was exceptional, attentive not intrusive. Would definitely come back

From the 1st service to the last the whole experience is amazing. The chefs really know ingredients and how to use them. The quality of the product were local too which was a bonus too. Added to the the servers were on point knowledgeable and efficient.

Lovely greeting on arrival, staff very friendly and welcoming. Our reservation was at 4pm due to a concert so we were the only people in the restaurant for a little while. I felt a little cold but other than that the restaurant was lovely with nice background music. The food was amazing - we had.3 courses - all delicious. Staff were very attentive and suggested a great bottle of red to go with our food. we couldn’t fault anything. We will definitely return but book a later evening slot next time so there is more atmosphere. So glad we found this place. 👍🏻

The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham.

Run by chef proprietor, Simon Hulstone and his wife Katy. Food is cooked by a talented team of chefs and served by friendly, professional team of staff.

Due to the style of cooking we cannot produce dairy free menus & therefore cannot provide vegan options.

A deposit is required to make reservations on special days of the year, on our special events, or for tables of 6 or more. This is paid over the phone by calling 01803 200044.

Children's menu is only available at lunch for ages 10 and under.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the last 18 years. It is by far the best restaurant I have ever dined in. It's cosy, it's unpretentious, it's everything you want a great restaurant to be. The service is subtle, the food is gorgeous. I have never had a bad dish, ever, ever. I have been to 3 Michelin star restaurants in my lifetime and TFT will always be my favourite. I love the place. Am I going over the top. No. It's just a top class to have a meal where the service is top class and the food is mmmmmmm

Fab restaurant. Me and my wife shared the Beef Wellington Surf & Turf special, and it was delicious. Excellent presentation too. The atmosphere is always perfect - a great 'buzz' without being too noisy. One of my favourite restaurants in York. Highly recommend.

First time I have been to the White Hart in many years, and I had forgotten just how special this place is. The building of course is totally unique in historical terms, and is beautifully presented, even in these mad health and safety days. The ambience is pure magic - warm and welcoming, non-intrusive but carefully chosen background music. Staff were all incredibly welcoming and once we were eating, didn't keep coming to ask "how is everything?" which really annoys me in some places. Food was 5* excellent - I am vegetarian and could not fault my Main. Two teenage kids had steak and they were very happy with theirs, which is quite unusual (either over or under done, but not here). My wife had the house G&T, and I had the house breads, both of which were amazing. Main complaint - no room for dessert! Keep it up, and we'll be back very soon!

A lovely Valentines Day lunch. Very,very good service as always. Table with a great view over the marshes. No Bacardi stocked so my wife chose water. The Brancaster Brewery Oystercatcher was a lovely brew! We had oysters first then mussels then a pud. Oysters good but not as big or well presented as previous visits to be rated excellent. Mussels were also good but not excellent. Good quantity and fries kindly substituted for focaccia but size and cookedness (?) of the mussels varied. Excellent effort for a busy Valentines Day lunch service!!! Local real ale at £5/pint and a service charge of 10% seemed very reasonable indeed.

Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham.
An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £70 for lunch and £120 for dinner. We are regular diners at The Ugly Butterfly however due to illness, had not been able to go for a few months so it was wonderful to 'be back' and we had a wonderful time. Amazing food, fantastic service with the most beautiful view too. Asked what our favourite dish of the way was, impossible to say as it was all excellent.
