Malay-themed. We had three starters - Dancing Prawns and Chargrilled Satay Skewers. The Dancing Prawns were substantial portions and well done. However, my partner thought the Chargrilled Satay Skewers a bit heavy. For mains I had the Pappardelle Angus Ragu. This was another substantial dish, again perhaps a little heavy. Definitely substantial value for the big eater!

Somehow in all of our time in Leeds we had never been to Kendells before despite lots of positivity from friends who had , we`d never quite made it. What a fabulous place. The food was wonderful and the service even better. I don't know the name of our waitress but she was outstanding. The style and design of the place is exceptional and I loved the location next to the the water. I honestly don't think there is is anything that could be improved. First time here after knowing and hearing about Smiths for a long time. It was a business lunch and my client loves seafood so seemed appropriate. My guest said the halibut was very good and tasted unbelievably fresh. It’s also nice to see a meat/fish restaurant have a comprehensive veg/vegan menu and a bonus was the food was really good. The tempura cauliflower and goan curry were superb and I will 100% be coming back. It was really busy which meant a nice atmosphere and the staff were extremely attentive.

We are long-standing customers of The French Table. We had the Tasting Menu which had seven courses each one being superb, the best being the last with a quite superb pistachio cheesecake. The service was very attentive and were excellent in clearing up after I had accidentally spilled my glass of wine with the minimum Of fuss.

The Poet offers an informal yet refined dining experience in the heart of the Kent countryside. Set in a charismatic 16th century building, diners can expect food of the highest standards, made using the finest local and seasonal produce and lovingly prepared by a small team of chefs led by Head Chef & Director Lee Adams.

In addition to the food, we offer a selection of fine wines, quirky cocktails, and have a collection of over 25 craft gins available.

World War I poet Siegfried Sassoon lived in Matfield and is the inspiration behind our name. Sassoon was awarded the Military Cross for "conspicuous gallantry" and later won acclaim for his writing. We're pretty sure he would have loved our food too!

Food / service always Exellent however 3 of our party had roast sirloin of beef (had it before a few times ) however this time 2 very thin/ small slices of beef appeared on a plate with an enormous Yorkshire pudding the rest of the vegetables / jus was Exellent just thought the chef a bit mean with the meat !! desert Exellent

Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham.
An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £70 for lunch and £120 for dinner. The wine list continues to offer great value with the Chef's Cellar List (just add VAT and corkage), increasing both our quantity and quality and a overall extension to the main wine list of up to 400 bins now on display in the feature wine cellar on the ground floor.

We had lunch on a Monday. Welcoming and attentive staff, with a pleasant manner about them. The menu was interesting, and choosing was difficult. We thought the dishes were beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. The ambience was relaxed. It's clearly not the cheapest place to have lunch, but if you fancy something a bit special, I'd recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Small boutique style restaurant, the decor and lighting is lovely. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. Friendly chat and great advice about the wine. We had a Fixed Pice lunchtime slot but were not rushed at all, presumably our table wasn’t needed early evening because we were left to leave at a time of our choosing. The food was delicious, with first class presentation. Would highly recommend to family and friends, and we will definitely be back 👍
