We stopped in Magog on our way from Quebec City and Alessa Tratoria had been recommended by family and they were correct. This was a modern design with plenty of light and an open kitchen. The was easy conversation because it wasn’t loud the service was prompt and efficient and the food was fabulous. Four of us had different entrees and everyone was raving. The wine 🍷 list was extensive as well. The Alessa Tratoria is an excellent restaurant

Our server was fantastic but the food on the other hand wasn’t. The lobster tasted like natural gas and had been frozen. My wife’s risotto was totally over cooked as were the other proteins

We always leave here full and satisfied. Our server Kevin (I believe) was great, made us feel comfortable and welcome. He was mindful of what our preferences were and made sure to direct the food servers to our table with our favourite meats. Bolero has a really neat ambience that gives a cozy feeling. We celebrated our anniversary and could not have been happier with the service and the food. We received a complimentary glass of champagne to congratulate us, which was unexpected and appreciated. We shared the scallops as an appetizer and I had the duck and my husband the steak. It was all prepared to perfection. The bread was from a local bakery and was to die for, so good. The service was super attentive, the food and wine explained to us in major detail. We really enjoyed our experience. Although a little pricey, it was well worth it.

Five Stars all around. They made it easy. We arrived just before our designated time and were escorted to our table for two. Turned out to be next to the fireplace which added welcome ambiance as well as comforting warmth (mid December). My wife had no difficulty in arranging a modification to her menu selection and when our food arrived it was hot, prepared perfectly for us and very delicious. A nice American Merlot was the perfect complement. Great atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. The restaurant was not full which meant quieter for us, icing on the cake.

I can genuinely say that the best tasting food is served here in whole Alberta or even Canada. I would never order steak anywhere else, only at Chairman’s. I can also say that the restaurant meets European standards, both in terms of service and food and of course the interior is beautiful as well. Cocktails are superb

There were 4 of us and we all loved what we had. Calamari was delicious, lightly. Relaxed and 2 dip options, beer and goat cheese salad was delicious, and we all loved our entrees (steaks and prime rib). Garlic mashed potatoes are flavorful and the cheese cake and cherry jubilee brownie desserts were shared among us. All enjoyed immensely. Our server Eman was awesome, she joined in our banter and was attentive without hovering.

Everything we ordered was exquisite. Packed with flavour but also well balanced. I’m familiar with Middle Eastern food and this exceeded my expectations by far. We had the pleasure of dining at Gatto Matto, and it was nothing short of incredible! We ordered the Chef’s Plate, a delightful surf-and-turf creation featuring perfectly cooked steak, succulent lobster, and tender lamb chops. The plate was accompanied by broccolini, flavorful mushrooms, and crispy Parmesan fries—all bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Caesar salad was another highlight—fresh, crisp, and dressed to perfection. As for the cocktails, they were absolutely delicious and expertly crafted, adding the perfect touch to our meal. The service was outstanding—our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was impressively fast and efficient. To top it all off, the desserts were a showstopper. The tiramisu was heavenly, the apple dessert was divine, and the mini cannolis were the perfect sweet finish. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the exceptional food to the impeccable service, Gatto Matto truly delivered on every level. We had the tasting menu, one of the services was good the rest was outstanding. So much flavour and the wine pairing was really on point. In terms of service it was one of the best experience I have had. Both the waiter and the somelier were really knowledgeable about what they were serving and very hospitable. We are frequent diners at Kitchen 76. Wonderful foods, friendly staff and excellent ambiance. As I often remark they never disappoint and this outing is no different. The arancini rice balls are all always to die for! Thank you Melissa and Angela and Marotta family for an outstanding experience that makes us want to return again and again.

My first time at Major Tom's and it was outstanding. The service was fabulous, so quick, so friendly, efficient without feeling rushed for anything. The food was absolutely incredible! Drinks were so good. I had a Major Tom Collins and it was so delicious! Would recommend and absolutely return!

Our décor is warm and modern. The tradition has always been dark wood, leathers and a muted palette for a steakhouse. We broke the mould and decided to add hand-selected music that reflects us! We’re more like Jay Z and less like Sinatra.

We only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. We know our farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put in to produce our beef.

We are one of just a handful of steakhouses in Canada that serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged, Dry-aged and Wagyu beef 365 days a year. Our beef is always fresh never frozen.

We use a 1800 degree Infrared Grill to cook your steaks. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on the outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre.

Our server was wonderful & attentive. All three of our Filet's were done to perfection. Hard to sometimes when all 3 were cooked to a different doneness!! Also highly recommend the Yukon Gold Whipped Potatoes. All in all an outstanding experience!!!

Our terrific and bubbly server was Hanna. Our meals were very tasty and well spaced between app and main course. We love eating in the tiny house for two. Very pretty with the electric fireplace, festive pillows and twinkling lights on the spruce trees out side our window.

It was a most wonderful lunch with a very dear friend! It was a celebration lunch of friendship and also the retirement of my surgical oncologist who I was going to one last time before he is done on December 23rd. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate that than at the River Cafe!! I had the Flank Steak and my friend had the burger and they were both truly exceptional!! The steak just melted in my mouth and the accompaniments were perfect! The burger was scrumptious…complete with juices running down your fingers as you ate it, as every good burger should be! We didn’t have room for dessert but a delicious cappuccino was still in order! It truly is a magical place to be…wonderful atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff and always mouth watering food!!

The food was excellent, it is fairly loud inside which is to be expected as it is pretty much one gorgeous, wide open space with extremely high ceilings. We really appreciated that our waiter did not try to push us on desserts and extra items.

We had our team holiday lunch at Sole and it was fantastic. I had the chicken and it was delicious - tender and well seasoned. The service was perfect. Just the right amount of attentiveness so we could chat and enjoy our meal. It was wonderful. Definitely recommend.

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate a good friend’s birthday. We called ahead to say we would be unavoidably late . The staff were so accommodating. When we arrived, a lovely fire was burning and we appreciated the beauty and attention to detail. The food was high quality, delicious and plentiful . Once again Good Earth is a winner. Amazing restaurant space, gourmet food and excellent wines. Service by Sue was fabulous. We hope the new owners maintain it all as they expand into more event hosting. The staff here is awesome! We were first time visitors and the experience did not start off great. We had reservations in the dining room, but did not know the front area was the bar and had it's own Hostess. They were busy, but we were the only people in line with the four staff members working the area pretending they didn't see us, or it wasn't there job. I finally had to wave one of them down, only to be told we were down the hall. Some signage could have saved us standing there, and a better reception would have avoided us standing there forming a negative opinion before the night even started. Once finding our way to the Dining Room, again we were the only ones in line and reception from the Dining Room hostess wasn't much better. It was a little strange. Once in and seated, our experience and impressions flipped 180degrees. The service was both pleasantly and perfectly attentive. The food was excellent. It is not cheap, but neither did we feel it under delivered. On a crappy Monday night, approaching Christmas, the place was VERY busy - surprisingly so. Although, the place is smallish which certainly adds to the noise levels. We will look forward to returning and will certainly be mindful when we do of how we are greeted by the hostess.

Treadwell offers indoor dining and outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the Fall and Winter months, dinner reservations are available on Monday thru Thursday from 5pm to 730pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest).

Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

This is one of our favourite restaurants in the area. The food is always amazing and the service is always friendly and attentive. I love the added touches like the delicious focaccia they bring to your table and the shot of limoncello with your bill. Lovely ambience too, especially around Christmas. The best!

Serving Canadian Regional Cuisine, Vista 18 complements it's 18th floor views of Victoria's inner harbour and Juan de Fuca Strait with a locally inspired menu focusing on sustainable and fresh ingredients. Our versatile wine list and knowledgeable staff will help you choose the perfect wine to pair with your dinner while you enjoy the sights in our contemporary dining room.

Open for breakfast, happy hour & dinner 7 days a week. Reservations are always recommended to ensure the opportunity to see all of beautiful Victoria and the surrounding area. For reservations of groups over 6+, please give us a call!

Additionally, our lounge is open 7 days a week (with happy hour offered daily) and is non-reservable. Seating in our lounge is based on a first come, first serve basis.
