The coast by east is located at the end of the Großer Grasbrook, directly below the Marco Polo Tower and in the immediate vicinity of the Hamburg Cruise Center. The strikingly curved roof structure was designed by the architect collective EMBT from Barcelona and is modeled on the open flapping of a seagull's wings.
In the warm summer months, the window front, which can be opened completely, combines the spacious terrace and the interior restaurant area to form a large open space with high ceilings and a sophisticated lighting concept.
Discover the walk-in wine cabinet, the open bar with a decorative back buffet and the plant wall in the restaurant, which is completely planted with real plants, and let yourself be pampered by the team of head chef Thilo Haberland.

The team went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary needs by offering a full vegan menu, which was impressive and much appreciated. The ambience, lighting, and seating create a cozy yet elegant vibe, making it perfect for any occasion. The service is extraordinary, with staff who are not only attentive but also fluent in English. As always, the food was exceptional—consistently A1 in all my visits. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience!
