Calgary is home to some of the top restaurants in Canada. There are several traditional restaurants that have been part of its food scene for decades. These restaurants have a faithful following and serve recipes that have stood the test of time. Known as Stampede City or Cowtown, this city has its share of steakhouses and burger joints. Some are traditional while others have a more modern take on the world of beef. We enjoyed a lovely brunch with Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon. It was fantastic. There was a large reception taking place in the main dining room which impacted our service slightly but not enough to cause a blemish on our experience. Overall it was fantastic as always and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We celebrated a birthday at Lulu Bar and had an amazing experience! They were very accommodating, finding space for our group of six, which we really appreciated. The food was fun, creative, and absolutely delicious, with lots of flavors to enjoy. The cocktails were beautifully presented and just as tasty. It's truly an experience. All of the food was cooked/seasoned to perfection. Our waiter was unpretentious and happy to explain anything we didn't understand on the menu. He was attentive and kind but not intrusive. Each course brought us more visual delights that were a sight to behold, the flavours were phenomenal. The drink menu is extensive and creative. It was foggy when we went but I am sure on a clear night the views would be spectacular. Stop by this hidden gem, immediately!

First time at Native Tongues while visiting Calgary. We’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food inside and outside Mexico and wow is this place good! The Papas Norteñas which is delicious but extremely filling. I recommend sharing a bunch of dishes family style your group to try a bit of everything. We would definitely return.

Our server was excellent. Great vibe in restaurant. It was a Birthday celebration and was geeted with Bday wishes and a glass of Bubbly. Very nice touch. We ordered the shrimp/Toast appie and was excellent. Main dish we ordered the steak and it was awful. Could not chew. Laced with fat. They gave us free dessert to make up with the disappointment of of main dish. But like i said, the server took the time to explain each dish and was super pleasant to work with.

Stopped in for a business dinner. Pizza was fresh and fantastic. Service was outstanding, water was filled and timing on appies to dinner was perfect. Top it off with dessert we shared Nutella Cheese cake and homemade tiramisu. Thanks for another great experience.

This is a phenomenal dining experience it’s intimate, but it has exquisitely plated , all the food is time to perfection, which is actually quite a feat, considering what’s on their surf and turf. Cocktails are exceptional ! I waited way too long to come here and I cannot wait to go back. The staff are absolutely lovely and quite accommodating. I would give this place six out of five. ! 👌🏽
