Pizzeria Mozza is the brainchild of renowned chef Nancy Silverton, founder of La Brea Bakery and the late LA institution Campanile Restaurant. Silverton’s obsessive quest to create the perfect pizza crust was detailed in an episode of the Netflix documentary “Chef’s Table.” Los Angeles locals and visitors get to feast on her remarkable, meticulously honed pizzas emerging from the wood-burning oven at Pizzeria Mozza. The Rooftop by JG sits atop the iconic Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills. Its setting 12 stories up– notably the largest rooftop restaurant in Beverly Hills – invites a sunny dining experience augmented by panoramic views. The all-day menu features a handful of main courses along with burgers and tacos, dedicating most of its space to shareables, salads and snacks. We had the Pecan Salmon, Tuna bowl, guacamole and black truffle fries….everything was excellent in taste, presentation and timely delivery. Drinks were great as well. Great evening overlooking the area and pleasant weather. Highly recommend. We’ll be back for sure.

Among seven L.A. locations, the Brentwood Kaysuya stands out for its interior design by Philippe Starck. Critics and a devoted crowd of regulars focus on the top-notch sushi, but don’t overlook the non-sushi sections of the comprehensive menu.
