On Saturday June 29, Pride is back in London, full of colour and vibrancy as it lights up Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. Whether you’re attending the march or hanging out nearby to catch a glimpse of the festivities, it’s an especially fun time of year to book your spot at a restaurant for family and friends. Start the celebration with a bottomless brunch with live music and unlimited pizza, feast on sharing mezze at a Lebanese must-try spot, or head to the top of an open-air oasis in the heart of the West End for celebratory after-parade cocktails. In summer we often enjoyed “Siyadiyeh”, a freshly caught sea bass served with a fisherman’s risotto native to Tyre, my mother’s hometown and in winter we would all gather in the kitchen eagerly waiting for the slow cooked lamb for her famous “Fatteh”.
