Will definitely go again! The staff and ambience were fantastic. It was a relaxing aesthetically pleasing restaurant/bar. The food was 11/10. We had the Zen Garden high tea. It was enough food for two and so delicious. Served with tea and prosecco - both also delicious. The price was very fair and I have no complaints. I recommend this place to anyone wanting delicious food, a celebration or even a quiet and delicious meal whilst you work (there were others in the bar at the tome working in their laptops and eating). The staff were so friendly and attentive, without being over bearing. This seems like a great place to just go for a drink as well.

About the restaurant
Welcome to Modern Indian fine dining experience. Wide range of recipes with various available options to satisfy your taste.

Good food, shared with people you love, is the best way to celebrate and enjoy life. Based on this idea of sharing joy and goodwill through a shared connection of delicious food, we have opened our restaurant: Indian Mehek. We have an interesting story behind the name, too. When you think of food, the first association you have is its delectable aroma. The rich fragrance of cardamom in masala chai, the sweet smell of syrup in gulab jamun, the mouthwatering layers of flavours in chicken tikka masala. The wonderful fragrance lures you to the table before you even see the spread in front of you.

So we thought of a name to capture the essence of cooking and eating - Indian Mehek, or the aroma of India.

About the restaurant
Bienvenue. Les Bubbles is a Parisian steakhouse on the corner of Wickham and Little Street in Fortitude Valley, forged in the very same building that housed the notorious illegal casino, bath-house and brothel at the centre of the Fitzgerald Inquiry. While the card decks and kerb servers are all but gone, the building’s colourful history remains pinned to every wall. Steak frites – known by many as the national dish of France – is the centrepiece of our menu. We sear the steak to your liking, before serving it with bread, salad, plenty of sauce and bottomless frites. Les Bubbles welcomes all, and as such, both vegetarian and pescatarian eaters will feel right at home. For any curious individuals, a change of scenery is available by wandering down a single flight of stairs. A cross between English terrace-houses and the traditional Chinese courtyard, these residential back street neighbourhoods are tucked away behind the commercial centre of the city’s boulevards. At Lilong we re-imagine the pulsating melting pot of street food and the heart, soul and rhythm of the streets of Shanghai. The atmosphere embodies a cheerful meeting and eating place that has been such an integral part of Shanghai living. Lilong’s signature range of noodles, dumplings and other dishes reflects those genuine flavours and traditional cooking techniques.

Enjoyed meal. Not as much as at Lucha Black. Service was very erratic. Had to ask girl to remove a plate instead of pushing more on the table already full of dishes as small round table. Had to stand up to bar to ask for extra drink. Girls should come back to tables to check of anything else required part way through meal. Lucha Black has more atmosphere. Better service. It was very noisy as we were by bar area, obviously they were busy with take/away. I felt $150 quite a lot for 2 people, considering no ice cream afterwards. I also told them it was my partners birthday, but this was not acknowledged, although requested on booking form. I will go back, but to Lucha Black, the better place. Thank you.

Quality of the food was very good. Foccacia bread starter - superb, good serving size BBQ Octopus starter - delicious , serving size for price was just acceptable Main course Duck beautifully cooked and seasoned Main course Beef cheek fantastically moist and melt in your mouth. Only real criticism, is that the mains come with absolutely no real accompaniment. You get the meat and some sauce, and NOTHING else. You are 100% obligated to order multiple sides in order to compile a total meal experience. Some of these sides I would deem to be quite expensive for what they are. If you are taking a main, plus 2 sides then you are looking at $70+ for a "main meal". The food, service and ambience were nice. I would suggest from a budget perspective you are probably looking at $150-200 per head for a typical dinner for two dining night out, higher depending on your wine choices/

Was it that little village where no one spoke english, but you had the most amazing stir fry served on a leaf? Or was it when you went to L.A. and tried Banh Mi for the first time?

Whatever it is for you, our food is going to make you feel some type of way. Textures that crunch, aromas to make your mouth water, flavours that make you vocal (argh) & aesthetics you’ll want to share to your story.

About the restaurant
Perched above Brisbane’s CBD, retreat, rendezvous, revel or all the above at The Inchcolm. The neo-Georgian design from late 1800’s pays homage to the building’s time of prestige and resident physicians, with subtle hints of musical undertones and an air of rhapsody.

Bringing back the golden age of dining to Brisbane with timeless classics, The Inchcolm Bar’s carefully crafted menu pays tribute to a bygone era when cocktails were clinically endorsed, martinis and spirits were king, and bartenders celebrated.

We invite you to choose the perfectly cosy spot and unwind, relax and enjoy a tipple or two in solitude.

Food and Martinis were exceptional as always. Service was very disjointed though and could use some refining to match the food and ambience experience.

Brought my partner here for her birthday dinner and was left pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and how it was served. Commendable efforts on ensuring no food was wasted and that an ingredient could be used in such unique ways. Only drawback was that no outside cake was allowed for consumption and there was no special cake/cupcake/any sort of desserts served other than the stated menu despite it being a special occasion.

Very nice evening. The food was excellent. My only complaint would be the lack of proper wait service. The young waiters were pleasant enough but you can only order at the bar or by phone icon and you have to pay for each course as you order making it hard to get another drink 🍷 at the table during the meal. I would prefer them to take a full order at the start and provide bill for the whole evening at the conclusion. Anyway, very good over all and would not hesitate to recommend.
