Our restaurant's name, A Touch of Salt, is a play on our family name, Brine. In 2005, we started as a family business, and our family-style approach of offering genuine hospitality and meals designed for conversation has always been the heart of A Touch of Salt. Over the years, we have perfected our restaurant to become one of the best casual fine-dining restaurants in the North.

We take pride in being appreciated by the locals of Townsville as well as travellers from all over Australia.

Incredible food, taste, presentation & flavours. Service is exceptional from arrival, throughout the entire dining experience. Beverage list is competitively priced. Congratulations to Mark, Michael and all the team, quality of service and food was superb, as always.

Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us. My first dining experience here although my friend has raved about this place for ages. So I booked based on her recommendation. Fabulous place - food was excellent and wait staff were amazing and helped to elevate what was already a great experience. Hugo and Sean provided expert knowledge of food (and sake) and made sure that we were well looked after. Will definitely visit again - awesome experience !

I celebrated an early Christmas dinner with my husband to cap off a challenging year. Our waiters and waitresses were uniformly friendly, well-informed and well-trained. It remains a consistent delight to have celebration meals at Donovan's. Well done for maintaining such excellent standards.

Enmore's Osteria di Russo & Russo is a favorite among locals and visitors alike for its modern take on classic Italian flavours, served in its warm and charming restaurant. As snacks to start, the fiore di zucchini fried zucchini flower with goat's milk ricotta and lemon aspen and the cannolo filled with a duck liver parfait, date and hazelnuts are sensational selections.

Some of Osteria di Russo & Russo's specialty dishes include the saltbush gnocchi with pork sausage ragu and pecorino, the chargrilled beef flank with green garlic, nasturtium and smoked eggplant and the slow cooked freemantle octopus with chickpea, salsa rossa and native bush tomato, as well as vegetarian dishes.

Osteria di Russo & Russo's strawberry sorbet, davidson plum meringue and limoncello custard is the perfect dessert with which to finish your meal.

ambience service ease of booking excellent. some of the dishes excellent. some dishes average. we had the paired wines. some was excellent some tasted as though it had been open for a while. The experience is delightful the food varies. Overall a great place to celebrate.

This has to be one of the best kept secretes of Melbourne. After 6.5 years in Melbourne, 3 days before we return to London, it was one of our last stops. We will miss you Luca.

Great food, amazing wine list, beautiful breeze through big open windows on a lovely summer evening with friends. This place is a big draw card in The Basin! Staff were super friendly and helpful. They adapted a couple of dishes for us which was fab. Would definitely recommend to others as a good place for a meal to celebrate , or just because!

Today’s lunch is the second time we have eaten at the woodhouse and while the meals were very good the menu hadn’t changed in that time. It would be nice if the meals are providing seasonal rates that the menu could change in that time.
