Everything from the reservation process to the host to the server to the food and to the pricing was absolutely fabulous. The quality today is just as good today as it was 10 years ago. That says a lot for management standards and the chefs themselves. Can’t say enough about how good this restaurant is.

We Had dinner here for my partners birthday. Overall we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant personalized his menu with “Happy Birthday Calvin” at the top. The host and our waiters all wished him a happy birthday upon his arrival making him feel special. We ordered steaks, five cheese Mac and cheese, and potatoes gratin. Everything was delicious. I had a couple cosmopolitans and he had an Old Fashioned which were both great. I definitely recommend Hyde Park for a special occasion or special date night. Guests really get dressed up here so come dressed nice!

This century-old home, built by the prominent Dwight family of Massachusetts, sits on four acres of Rose Avenue along Fountain Lake. Eclectic china, fine silverware, stemware and linen tablecloths enhance the setting for the Americana-style food and wine that awaits the discerning evening diner. Lunch is served in a more casual setting, consisting of delicious soups, salads, sandwiches and smoked meats. The Rose Plantation is family owned and operated.

We had a lovely meal. Four of us shared the family style sea bass entree, and 2 small plates, short ribs and burrata. It was delicious! Our server, Dakota, was fantastic! Very happy with our meal and the whole experience.
