   I wasn’t thrilled this time. We felt rushed. They cleared the table before people were finished eating. They brought some of the food out way before the others got their food. They brought the baked potatoes out way before the rest of those meals came and then they were cold. The prime rib was just ok. I got a very tough piece. We liked our waiter but overall very disappointed and it was my birthday dinner with the family.

   The prime rib is so tender, the crispy onion is so good! I love see's sundae and the creme brule. I had fun watching the spinning bowl salad but to top this all off was the best servicewe got from Mark. He answered all our questions with a warm smile on his face, I know he was tired because he's going back and forth but the smile and the warmth reception was always there. He made suggestions and I am glad I took those suggestions because it did not fail the expectation and because of his excellent service and good food, we will come back for more ❤️

   We went for Sunday brunch, which was pretty easy to make reservation for party if 8 for 11:30am. Was surprised that even though OpenTable had reservation slot for 11:15am, they were only open at 11:30. Took a while for them to set the table and get us seated. Breakfast options were good, although I still got the prime rib dinner staples. We also tried the french toast, mushroom, shaved prime rib and sunnyside egg which were all good. The only disappointing dish was the chicken and waffles. The chicken was very bland. Also, impressed that there was live music even during brunch.

   The sea bass was way too thin and dry. A complete disappointment. It’s different than before. No more pre dinner snacks at the lobby.

    I have been going to Lowry‘s since I was a child. It used to have such a classy refined feel to it.  the service and experience were what you were paying for. Not only did the service vary from rushed to none at all, it just felt like a tourist trap. Two of us ordered the prime rib, one of us ordered a steak. They completely forgot to deliver the steak for at least 10 minutes until we flagged people down, but trying to get somebody’s attention was almost impossible. Finally, our waitress was flying by And took notice, and the stake turned up while we were halfway through with our prime rib. There’s nothing refined to it anymore. You’re basically paying to watch somebody spin a salad, and cut prime rib off of a rolling cart. But it was rushed. There was no discussion about what was happening. I won’t ever go back. But at least I have memories of what it used to be.
