Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal Cayet is dedicated to providing service that is friendly and efficient. And you will find Chef François Soyez's menu to be deliciously approachable.                                                               Valentine’s Day was crowded and energetic but service was still impeccable. The set menu had great choices which were well prepared. We hadn’t been there in years and it did not disappoint.

                                                              This is a special occasion place that we have enjoyed on several occasions. The food was great, as usual. Being Valentine’s Day, the restaurant was especially crowded, causing elevated noise levels, and difficulty navigating between the chairs. Our waiter initially brought the wrong dessert, and did not seem to appreciate the error until it was pointed out to him by a diner at the adjoining table. Otherwise, the service was timely and efficient in spite of the crowd. The $99 fixed price for the special three course Valentine’s Day menu probably exceeded what the three dishes would have cost on another night.  However, the quality of the food was excellent.

                                                              My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at Lavendou. It was cozy and festive, and despite being crowded, the service was excellent! Rafael is our favorite - he has a great sense of humor and is always wonderful! The food and wine is consistently delicious. One of our favorite spots to dine!
