-The highly energetic vibe paired with rock music on top of beautiful decor was unique. -Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Some dishes were excellent while others were off or just fair. Similar experience with the wine pairing. Protein and grains seem to be their “bread and butter”. -The service was attentive but seemed rushed (amuse bouche, bread, and first course were dropped all at once). Likely trying make a turn on the table as we dined early and it was a Saturday night on valentines weekend. Left overs were forgotten or misplaced.

Another wonderful dinner and experience at Lark. I highly recommend Work to anyone who has not been. They have great all the card options as well as price fixed we went on Valentine’s Day. It was amazing and did not disappoint.

Service was outstanding. As someone in the industry, it’s always refreshing to receive great hospitality, and the bartender delivered exceptional service. I sat at the bar and opted for the four-course tasting menu, starting with the steak tartare. While the presentation was nice, the flavors were lacking—it needed more depth. The arros negre was similar in that it tasted fine but felt one-dimensional, missing complexity. Bread service was solid. The biggest letdown was the duck breast—it was chewy and difficult to cut, which shouldn’t be the case even considering the leaner nature of the meat. To the bartender’s credit, they quickly noticed my dissatisfaction and offered to replace it. I switched to the wagyu, which was excellent and a definite highlight. Dessert was an espresso mousse, which had great flavor and an interesting presentation. For drinks, I started with a cocktail, a one-off call that the bartender executed perfectly. The bar has a fantastic selection of spirits, and I ended the meal with a sherry that paired beautifully with dessert. Overall, the experience was just okay—not bad, but not worth the $240 price tag. The service and drinks were top-tier, but the food didn’t justify the cost.

We were really looking forward to dinner at Lark, but we were disappointed. The service was great and the bread basket and appetizers were really good. The wine list was OK but the mains were super disappointing, especially the duck which was undercooked and almost uneditable. I don’t know if I’m gonna spend $500 for dinner on a Monday night for two people it should be awesome and, sadly, Lark didn’t deliver.

Hosted an out of town recruit. Thinking about the right balance of ambience, noise level and food, Lark hit it out of the park. From start to finish the tasking menu provided exciting tastes (the gnocchi were amazing). Staff were attentive and discrete. Kudos to Jonathan Sundstrom and his team for such consistency and excellence over so many years!

We ordered the Mediterranean appetizer along with the brussel sprouts and beat salad and they were were excellent I wish I could say the same got the main courses. We ordered the duck and a the steak. The duck arrived and I found it was totally distasteful as well as rubbery. On the plate was a some type of charred pastry which was not edible. The other person ordered the steak it arrived cut steak into four pieces and I tasted that as well and it did not mean my expectations. Overall. I was very disappointed with this experience at the Lark restauran. Ps, my dog loved the duck so all was not lost.
