   We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant which has been our favorite place for special occasions for many years now. As always, food was excellent and enjoyed our visit. Service could have been better and our server Jonas appears to need more training and rarely checked up on us after food was served.

   One of my favorite spots. Exquisite food and attentive service. Had their special for the evening lobster vol-au-vent for an appetizer and the PEI scallops paired with a wonderful Alsatian Gewurztraminer. I highly recommend dining here. You won’t be disappointed in the least.

   Great service and ambiance however the food has diminished from previous visits. Duck confit was extremely dry and almost felt like it was premade and reheated… Duck confit should never be dry… hanger steak was still solid. Tiger prawn raviolis is still the star of the show. I wish they had a larger portion as an entree.

   Seated right away on a busy rainy night. Excellent tasty food offerings that were prepared and presented well. Very enjoyable cozy fun evening at L’Ardoise and we’ll be back for sure.

   Absolutely delighted with our dining experience for a special event with my daughter! The occasion was made even more memorable by the exceptional service, outstanding food, and beautiful atmosphere.     The food at L'Ardoise is good. However, I chose this restaurant for a special occasion and the staff did nothing to make it special. We were all dressed up and clearly there for a celebration. The waiter was uninterested in getting to know us as was the only other person working (host perhaps) We ordered dessert and since my reservation mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, they put a candle in it. The waiter didn't know who was celebrating a birthday because he barely spoke to us so he basically flung the dessert in the center of the table and ran off. It was bizarre behavior. I was so disappointed that I chose this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday.
