We had a nice experience at Ocean Grill. The water taxi was such a cool way to go and definitely provided anticipation and excitement . The restaurant itself is rustic, romantic and exactly what you could expect from a cliff side restaurant. Beautiful views and a unique atmosphere. The service was great, although a bit slow in the beginning to order our drinks. The waiter was very attentive from then on, and checked back about the food. We ordered smoked marlin tostadas which were really good. They are served 4 to a plate, unlike some restaurants that serve 3 items in an appetizer. Highly recommend! I ordered the jumbo shrimp and my husband the catch of the day, mahi-mahi. We both had the same side dishes, mashed sweet potato and grilled vegetables. My shrimp were cooked perfectly, although I felt lacked seasoning and could have had a little more char on the outside, and a little more sauce on the plate. My husband’s fish was swimming in butter, maybe a bit too much. Both plates were beautifully presented and matched the feeling of the restaurant. Good quality. Of the dessert options, they had sold out of the one that appealed to us the most, so we went for espresso martinis instead. The manager checked in on all the tables which I find to be a great thing that all restaurants should do. Just a nice touch. I think this is a special occasion place and the prices reflect that. Campomar is to Seafood what Santa is to Christmas.........you can't have one without the other! Their selection of seafood is really quite amazing and talk about "fresh".......it is at the entrance to the restaurant on ice with Chef's handy to help with your selections!! Service is excellent, done with warm and welcoming efficiency! And the cooked food on the plate is delicious! We'll be back! Andre

Best restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. We eat there every year. It’s worth the traffic and time to get there. The food, ambiance, and scenery is superb. Thanks for another great evening.

Fantastico! Fermin, our lovely server, was incredible — and our meal was so delicious. We stayed at the hotel so we had an even better experience overall! 5* all the way. Be sure to dress up—this is a refined, special place. We saw a few people in shorts and sneakers… a shame, really. The restaurant explicitly states “elegant dress”.

We enjoyed a dinner by the glass fence in the water patio area. The view was amazing. The waiter took our order and accommodated all of our requests. The food was delicious and the drinks were refreshing. Will definitely come back on our next trip. A must see experience on your trip to Puerto Vallarta.
