A ground-to-glass small-batch distillery located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland. We offer full service dining, a locally-driven food menu, craft cocktails made exclusively with Fallen Oak spirits, and several Lone Oak draft beers. We have four seating areas that are uniquely different - the Lawn, Perch, Tasting Room, and Montgomery County's only Speakeasy. All reservations booked online are for our Speakeasy (shhhh, don’t tell anyone!). We also accept walk-ins for the Speakeasy and the other three seating areas. We are closed Mondays & Tuesdays. The Lawn, Perch, & Tasting room open at noon each day; our Speakeasy opens at 4pm. Please be aware that all guests of Fallen Oak must be 21 years or older.     Having been to Lone Oak my husband and I were very excited when we heard they were opening a distillery! It was such a fun experience, starting with entering the “secret passage” behind the bookcase. Drinks and food aren't cheap but worth the price!

    This restaurant is fantastic. We traveled from the DC area to go and it was well worth the trip. We will absolutely return. The service and atmosphere were lovely. The pasta and pizza were both perfect (coming from a New Yorker that’s saying a lot)! They never made us feel rushed while also being wonderfully attentive. A 10/10 lasting impression!

    The food was served hot, and our meals were always delicious. The service was outstanding. I wish Fontina would update its menu with new items or specials. We have been going for years, and the menu has never changed. A recommendation would be a vegetarian lasagna or a lasagna that does not have veal in it, as well as spaghetti and meat sauce (non-veal meat).
