Cielito Lindo is an extension of La Cita Mexican Restaurant in Cherry Hill. Owners, Olivia, Regulo Reyes and Alma, are originally from Puebla, Mexico and have been residing in South Jersey for over 20 years. The stunning restaurant, which is the first of its kind in South Jersey, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home, and a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish, which are flown in from the Greek islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, and procured from independent North American fishermen. We have created a welcoming restaurant designed with the comforts of a typical Greek home. We used materials such as hand-chiseled Jerusalem limestone floors, hand woven rugs, vaulted ceilings, antiqued stucco walls, wood plank floors and exposed wood beams to evoke the traditional atmosphere. A series of dining areas feature rustic farm tables, dark wood chairs with beige cushions and dining nooks with upholstered banquettes. The homelike ambience is accentuated with whitewashed walls.

Founded in 1996 the ideas for the Marblehead Chowder House were actually hatched a few years before. Sitting at "The Barnacle," overlooking Marblehead Harbor one raw winter day, while the spume from the rough saltwater painted the windows and the Sam Adams Lager flowed freely, a concept was born. Casual, coastal and cozy - fresh seafood, fin fish, shellfish and hearty chowders in a warm, relaxing atmosphere that says "seaside" - a place that had tradition, patriotism, and a New England heritage about it. Fresh ingredients, house-made soups and chowders, comfort food with a twist freshly prepared to order were all musts!     The regular menu is excellent but the specials are always outstanding. Tonight was no exception. The crab appetizer with corn was great and the oysters on the half shell were expertly presented. The main course, puerco relleno, was incredibly tender and delicious. Highly recommend that you try Cielito Lindo if you want to experience Mexican food that shows Mexican cuisine at its best.

    Service by Monica was excellent. Monica had a pleasant personality with a touch of humor. The appetizer, clams casino. They were nice sized (6) and tasty. I had mussels fra diablo while my wife had the trio de mare. Both were very excellent dishes. The owner stopped by to chat with us which was charming. All in all, a nice evening for Valentine's Day.
