- JJohnVIPLondon •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBlink and you'll walk past this excellent small restaurant! I had the venison ragu, based on the recommendation of the waiter from the various choices I was interested in, and it was delicious. Really glad I went with his recommendation. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass, which went really well with the venison ragu. This was my first time to this gem of a restaurant and I will definitely return.More infoSatyrioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Aldgate•4.5
- VVerityLondon •3 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoThe snacks and mains were exceptional, but unfortunately the small plates missed the mark for us (we had the Wild seabass, winter tomato, Iberico ham which just tasted like tomato and nothing much else, and the Chalkstream trout tartare, soy, egg yolk which again felt overwhelmed by the soy flavour). The wine list is great - particularly recommend the Sancerre. A lot of the seating is side-by-side/counter style, which isn't preferred by all. The service is excellent. Tom Brown is continuing to do really innovative things with fish. You'll eat stuff here that you won't ever try again! It feels like early days Cornerstone (when it was at it's best). It wasn't perfect, but it was still very very good.More infoPearly QueenPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Spitalfields•4.6
- JJeffVIPLondon •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat food. Even better service. A fun and dynamic atmosphere. These are the reasons why, every time we’re in London (we live in California), we visit Bife Grill.More infoBifePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Aldgate•4.8
- JJamesVIPLondon •42 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHave walked passed the restaurant in Wood Wharf a few times and said we needed to try it but we were in Aldgate today so popped in there instead. Lovely spot for a quick bite to eat. Simple pasta, done well. Loved both dishes (ragu and lamb ravioli) and will definitely come again to try some of the other menu items. Thank you for a lovely lunch.More infoEmilia's Crafted Pasta - AldgatePrice: Moderate• Italian• Aldgate•4.6
- AAnaLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined on 20 Feb 2025I really like this restaurant. The food is good the staff is super nice and I like the ambience. The only thing I would change is the music, it completely ruins the vibe hearing techno while eating middle East food. It's a small detail I know but kills a bit the momentMore infoAmberPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• Aldgate•4.6
