Welcome to the Steam Plant Restaurant and Brew Pub! This historical building actually functioned as a steam plant between 1916 and 1986, when the last boiler was shut down in December of that year.Then years later, the old plant was transformed from a dirty, drab industrial behemoth into a cathedral-bright architectural showcase becoming a functional commercial space while maintaining as much history and equipment as possible within the rigid guidelines of historic renovation. Fortunately, the iconic twin stacks continue to lend a uniqueness to the Spokane skyline. Since reopening in November 2021, the Steam Plant has partnered with Grain Shed Brewing whose beers are made with regionally sourced ingredients. The bar and dinner menus have been updated to showcase local favorites. Best food and service - taquitos are unique, harvest salad is fresh w pretty presentation, and entrees were great! Our party had the filet mignon and also the Meyer’s chicken entrees - all excellent in preparation, flavor, and artistic display. The shared desserts were a hit- chocolate and especially the coconut cake! Travis provided exceptional service! We will be back!

I went to Sorella to celebrate my birthday and was treated like royalty! Celebratory Prosecco and a card greeted me at my table. The food was fabulous as always and the service was delightful. I am never disappointed at Sorella and they continue to make every visit wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Reserving via open table was easy. Great atmosphere with great view (if you are along the windows) but can get a little noisy if its busy. They were busy and apologized for a delayed time in getting our salads. Food/drink selection was great with good selection for my interests and likings. Can be considered a little more pricy from what range is shown.

Our dinner was exceptional! Our server was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly and helpful and had a smile on her face the whole evening! We shared a Kraken burger and it was very tasty. The happy hour cabernet was quite good as well! All in all, it was a lovely evening!
