Tagliata was a delight. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was pleasant, and our server (Marisa) could not have been better — she was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu, upbeat and attentive. Great food. Great ambience. Great service. I highly recommend Tagliata.

This was a superb dining experience for our party of 4. The house cocktails were wonderful. Among the great appetizers were the tuna tartare, arugula salad, and the wagyu tartare, while the entrees were superb (branzino, short ribs, Rotolo [waygu bolognese], and Mezze Rigatoni. To top it off were the deserts: Dulce de leche cakke and the smoked vanilla panna cotta (the latter is referred to as "S'mores in a bowl", but it is so much more). Shout out to our waitress Danielle, one of the finest we have ever encountered. Danielle was personable, attentive, always there to attend to our needs and to refill water, espite it being a very busy Saturday night. We wholeheartedly recommend Cece's!

We had hurricanes that easily rivaled Pat O's in New Orleans. As for food, we started with the barbecue shrimp and fried green tomatoes with crab. Fried green tomatoes were outstanding! Barbecue shrimp weren't quite what I get when back home in New Orleans but they were good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the smothered pork chops for our main course. Both were so good. We finished with banana pudding and peach cobbler, which was also delicious.

It was a lovely first time experiencing Gertrude’s after the Candlelight Concert featuring the Best of Bridgerton on Strings in the Meyerhoff Auditorium at BMA. When I saw the white tablecloth, I knew it would be a fine dining experience. Alex T provided the right number of check-ins and gladly answered our questions about the menu choices. Our menu choices; Red crab soup Boardwalk Crab cake platter Steak Frites It was all cooked to perfection and yummy. I learned Gertrude’s does Sunday and alfresco dining during the warmer weather. I’ll be back.
