Restaurants near Waits Station

We had a true dining experience at Hotel Sutter - excellent food and exceptional service. The restaurant had a full load with holiday shoppers and families. The servers never missed a beat. This our 3rd time in 2 weeks. All 3 were fabulous

The food was amazing. The homemade brown bread was hot and soft, served with whipped butter and maple butter! My filet mignon was cooked just the way I like it! Seared on the outside and a perfect medium on the inside! We had the toasted pecan cheesecake for dessert! Probably the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! Our server was great too! Will definitely be back!!

All six of us had a very tasty meal, ordering six different menu choices. Every meal was cooked correctly, nice presentation, and had great taste. Servers were very good, but a longer wait for the food was probably going to be expected as there was a large group in the "party room" as well as the restaurant was very busy. Overall, we will definitely be customers again.

We had quite the memorable dinner at Ella. To begin with, we ordered the fresh baked bread and butter. The bread was so very fresh, and the butter light and delicious. We also ordered the butter leaf salad with an incredible dressing. The lettuce and vegetables were so crisp and fresh, along with the incredible salad dressing...it was delightful. For an appetizer, we ordered the mushrooms with in-house made fresh ricotta cheese... another incredibly delicious symphony of flavors that melted in your mouth. Our main course was the Salmon, absolutely incredibly delicious! It was lightly grilled on the outside cooked medium.. The salmon literally melted in your mouth like a marsh mellow. By far, Ella is the very best fine dining restaurant in the Sacramento area.

Donna recommended the New York special with the jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp was soooooo good. I had the chicken chow mein very good choose also 🥰
