Restaurants near Villa Tortuga

Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Food came very fast, which can be nice but felt a bit rushed. Everyone’s meal was great. We got two appetizers, the tuna and the shrimp. Both were delicious. Shrimp tacos, tuna tostada, shrimp fettuccini, grilled octopus and shrimp, and shrimp tostada. All were fresh and delicious. Lots of drinks consumed, the special drink, some sort of blended fruit, was a table favorite.

Food was amazing. We thought we were just ordering appetizers & it ended up being our meal. We got the fried cheese and ceviche and made our own tacos. We had planned on ordering entrees but this was so delicious we engorged ourselves and couldn’t get anything else. Drinks were also out of this world. 10/10 would come again.

They were out of some of our favourite items. Grilled artichoke, corn bread, ingredients for specialty cocktails, and the staff were a bit frazzled as it seemed they could have used a few more working. It was a three hour dinner. The servers did not come and check on our table of 14 people and we had to grab them as they ran by to receive our drink and food order and even plates. We enjoyed our evening because we love being together as a family but they didn’t make us feel special. Hopefully next time they can be a bit more organised and keep the menu items available.

This is an amazing place. The food is fantastic and the service is out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were a group of 5 from Canada. We all enjoyed the food and very attentive staff and agreed we would like to award this restaurant with 7 out of 5 stars if it were at all possible! It was by far the best experience any of us had ever had!
