Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega.     This was our first time at Bacari Sherman Oaks, after going to locations in Silver Lake and Third Street in Los Angeles - and it was every bit as good, if not more impressive, than their other locations. Our server, Casey, was fantastic. The setting is exquisite, and the food is absolutely sensational. We have some favorites that we always (and will always) order: Carmelized Pork Belly, Caprese, Brussells Sprouts, Lamb Hummus. We brought friends who had never been to any of the Bacaris and they loved it as well. We'll be back VERY soon!

    Ordered the prime rib . Was excellent and one of the best we’ve had. The staff was awesome and the restaurant had an amazing view . Went for my girlfriend’s birthday and she left wanting to come back . Fellas bring your woman here you can’t go wrong and the food is top notch grab a drink those were good too .

    Castaway is an amazing location. Elegant, sophisticated and welcoming to all. We got to sit in the patio/veranda view section overlooking the city and beyond. The food was delicious and had no leftovers from us.
