The place was 50% capacity and the service was slow for a place of this caliber. Food 10/10 amazing everythingMore infoOcean 48 - NewportPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Newport Beach•4.9

- EElizabethAsheville / Western North Carolina •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat spot to dine on New Years Day. Everyone from the hostess to our server were very welcoming and kind. We were offered champagne upon arrival and given a dessert to top off the holiday meal. Our server was exceptional in every way. We ordered a large salad & sushi. Both were tasty and well prepared. Highly recommend for a higher end feel but casual atmosphere and delicious food.More infoJOEY Newport BeachPrice: Moderate• American• Corona del Mar•4.7
- MMariettaLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFantastic - Javier’s never fails! With friend in town for the holiday we wanted to do something festive for late afternoon drinks and then an early dinner. Service was outstanding - starting with sitting at the PCH side bar where our original bartender is still serving up perfect jalapeño margaritas — to the hostess who easily accommodated our request for table in that area for dinner — and then the food stoke the show. Queso fundido was terrific, Pork Verde and the Salmon dishes were ‘off the charts’ and the chicken Enchiladas and Crispy Tacos were perfect. Javier’s ALWAYS lives up to it’s reputation. We’ll be back again & again!More infoJavier's Crystal CovePrice: Expensive• Mexican• Newport Beach•4.7
- HHannaLos Angeles •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFood was great as usual. Shared the pate, which was very good. Plenty of pate, grilled whole grain bread, variety of fruits, pickled red onion, pickled green onion slices(first time having this-it was slightly sweet & tasty), & jam. For my entree,I ordered my usual Gorgonzola & Granny Smith apple with grilled chicken. MUCH better than my last visit. My only complaint last visit was the lone thin slice of apple. That’s correct. ONE slice of apple. Perhaps the kitchen supervisor was new(?). Anyway, the salad was great. My friend had the rare grilled tuna sandwich. VERY good. My last visit, my MIL had the same & was also very pleased with her choice. We will continue to be regular patrons. The food & service are great. The brief tour of the garden/nursery is a nice distraction from LA traffic & the hustle of city life.More infoFarmhouse at Rogers GardensPrice: Expensive• American• Corona del Mar•4.8
