Restaurants near U's Army Transportation Museum

We were seated quickly and Darrell (a recent Virginia Wesleyan graduate) was our server. As always, service here is exceptional. We have been coming here for years, and have sometimes cancelled reservations elsewhere just to enjoy another meal here. My husband salmon and shrimp in parchment that he raved over. I had gluten free baked crab cakes that were outstanding. The portions are huge, so no room for dessert. It’s a popular restaurant, we recommend reservations for the evening especially over holidays. But you will have a superb meal!

We loved our visit to Christiana Campbell's Tavern. The food and drinks were excellent, and our waitress was helpful, knowledgeable, and charming. I am a vegetarian, and those potato dumplings were phenomenal, exceeding my expectations!! We enjoyed the music and the "napkins." We wouldn't have wanted anything to be changed or improved. It was a very memorable evening! Thank you so much!

The catch of the day special was flounder, prepared with a beautiful balance of other flavors: crab, lemon butter, watercress, and skinned tomatoes in a rich sauce blanc. All of the dishes were well plated and the service was attentive but never intrusive; I appreciate that all five of us received our courses at once, and that no one’s plate and setting disappeared before all were finished eating!

OMG! If you even like American history a little bit, this is a life lister! Great atmosphere, great food, and everything is authentic even the candle lit dining room. This place is a must

I don’t know if this was the Williamsburg lodge or it was open table, but absolutely horrible direction on where to go. We went to the lodge and talked with 4 different people at the entrance, two restaurants and a hospitality person. All kept directing us to an empty room. There were at least 20 others wondering around with us. Finally go to the front desk and she knew where it was! 10 minute walk and we found it and everything else was great. Food was very good and service was exceptional- even when it rained😀
