Manalu is a new authentic Italian restaurant by Chef/Owner Marco Pontecorvo. The name was to combine all three of his family members names. MA for Marco, NA for Naomi, his daughter, and LU for Lucia, his wife. Manalu's goal is to bring a taste of Italy and a touch of Naples in the town, by serving authentic Italian cuisine and the original pizza Napoletana cooked in a brick oven.     My five person family (husband and three kids) all agreed that Ariana is one of the best severs we’ve had in a long time! She made the experience exceptional with her upbeat and friendly attitude! She was knowledgeable on what proved to be an excellent menu! We all ordered various items from the drink, appetizer, entree and desert menu. Every item was well prepared, flavored, portioned and presented! Loved the ambience too! Well lit establishment, not too dark or bright! Another thoughtful touch was warm towels to wipe our hands!! We will be back!

    The octopus was exceptional: grilled crispy, yet moist and tender on the inside. The combination with harissa and salty nuts was superb. Haloomi also very good. Mains: scallops with corn, a fun surprise; filet, nicely prepared.

    This time we went to Mayta’s for dinner and it was wonderful. Everything we ordered was delicious. The server was excellent and our window table was great. Looking forward to coming back soon for another great meal.
