- LLorrainePittsburgh / Western PA •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an excellent meal at Artisan, one of the best meals we've eaten in TC. The ahi tuna appetizer matched the quality of recent meals in Hawaii, and the mac and cheese and duck with waffles were great. We can see why the soft cheesecake dessert is a menu staple. Keegan, our server, was exceptional, and has made us converts to Artisan. we look forward to coming back with friends.More infoArtisan - Traverse CityPrice: Expensive• American• Traverse City•4.7

- DDawnChicago / Illinois •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were here for restaurant week. Often times during restaurant week portion are smaller but this was not the case. Full size portions. Everything was fantastic and we each tried something different. It is a beautiful setting but not too fussy either. The service was a bit slow but they acknowledged it and offered to comp our drinks which is fair. We will definitely returnMore infoAerie Restaurant & LoungePrice: Very Expensive• American• Acme•4.2
- LLynnChicago / Illinois •6 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoI recommend - but only certain items. 4star meal possible if you make the correct choices, and would be great bang for the buck. First off, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Our waiter, Paul, was great. Quiet, unassuming, but perfectly attentive and ready to answer all questions. Ambiance is wonderful, cozy, quiet, easy to converse. Comfortable. The food was inconsistant from course to course, but please read on to find the perfect choices. The watercress salad was light if you're not a big eater. But the red deer meatballs were delicious and i highly recommend. The seared maple bay chicken was perfectly cooked, very moist and tender. Really liked. But the beet risotto needed more beet for taste and stronger coloring. The stag gnudi was very good as well. The eclair sounded like a sure thing for dessert choice, but was a huge disappointment. Two of us ordered, and neither had any filling! So no mousse or mocha chips, just a dry eclair shell with drizzled dark chocolate on top. IF they rectify that mistake and actually fill the pastries, they would be very good. Instead though, order the bourbon pecan shortbread bars, because they were fantastic. Based on just my meal, i would give only 3stars, but i think with the correct choices it could be a 4star, and a bargain in the $25 category. So i do recommend, but only the specific choices outlined. Great idea for a restaurant, just needs some tweaking.More infoNiijiiPrice: Moderate• American• Acme•4.8
