- NNorsemanVIPPhoenix / Arizona •68 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ate in the lounge and our server Crystal was wonderful. She is so nice and engaging, made things very enjoyable. My appetizer was the Involti eggplant and it was so good. My wife had a Greek salad and really liked it. She ordered the Carni pizza, it was delicious. I had the Halibut puttanesca and requested the sweet corn risotto which they fixed for me. It was fabulous and I would definitely get it again The gentleman playing music in the lounge was very good and engaged the crowd, we had some good laughs.More infoThe Italian DaughterPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Scottsdale•4.8

Jackson and Cash, with attentive care, Made our evening beyond compare. With smiles that sparkled and service refined, Every detail handled, nothing confined. Glasses refilled before they ran dry, Questions answered with a gleam in the eye. The burgers were divine, cooked to perfection, Each bite a journey, a savory connection. But the true star came at dessert’s call— The Double Chocolate Brownie, the crown of it all. Rich and fudgy, a cocoa dream, With ice cream melting in a heavenly stream. A sweet finale, pure delight, Capping the meal with joy that night. Here’s to Jackson and Cash, a duo supreme, Part of what makes Preston’s a dream. For service, flavors, and memories shared, A place to return, always prepared.More infoPreston's SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• North Scottsdale•4.8
- AAlisaVIPPhoenix / Arizona •32 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy husband and I visited on a Friday night and had 5:30pm reservations, as we were going to a show afterwards. Check in was quick and we were shown to a table on the patio. About half the tables were already full. I'm glad we didn't just choose to go for happy hour, as there were no seats to be had at the bar. The waiter was quick and knowledgeable about the menu. We knew we wanted the grilled octopus, which we mentioned, but the waiter should have waited to put that in until after we had ordered drinks. So, we had no wine with the appetizer course. This was the only misstep of the evening. Bolognese and tagliatelle with shrimp were both very good. Plentiful portions; decent price for the area. Waiter instantly moved a heater to our area when I mentioned I was chilly. Patio was very lively by the time we left. We'll definitely be back.More infoSpiga Cucina Italiana - ScottsdalePrice: Moderate• Italian• North Scottsdale•4.6

- CClareVIPPhiladelphia County •106 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Nov 2024Talavera is a special place for special occasions ! We were celebrating a first wedding anniversary and were seated overlooking the wonderful view of the setting sun. The menu was an interesting mix of Spanish and steakhouse and we chose two appetizers to share -steak tartare and pan con tomate. While we waited with our drinks we were brought an amazing amuse bouche and without requesting a lactose free one for me- such a thoughtful gesture. The amuse bouche and the appetizers all were mouthwatering and prepared us for the high level of cuisine to come. Afterwards three of us chose the paella and one the trout. The individual pan paellas came chock full of seafood with the requisite crispy rice at the bottom of the pan! The saffron broth over the trout was so flavorful and the fish well prepared , as were the innovative sides of grilled asparagus and patatas bravas. We felt like honored guests, as the service was attentive and respectful. As we were deciding whether to go on with dessert, they brought a charming special dessert treat of chocolate and cherry filled hearts for the happy couple. What a wonderful end to our special celebration. The gorgeous Spanish guitar music only added to the romance of the evening. We will be back for our next special occasion.More infoTalaveraPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• North Scottsdale•4.7
