We had the prosciutto and asparagi panini and the chicken saltimboca panini. Started with the fried calamari- which melted in our mouths. And it was a huge portion. The paninis were huge and delicious. Our server Mecca was a joy.

Terrific, inventive food - wonderful pasta, unusual appetizer, spectacular dessert.

As always everything was great! The food and service never disappoints! I’ve never had a bad meal and neither has anyone I’ve had dinner with at t at the General Store !

My husband & I were celebrating our anniversary & wanted to go someplace special. We knew that Bas Rouge was a James Beard winning restaurant & decided to go there. And was it worth it! The whole experience was absolutely wonderful….each course was delicious; incredible service; a relaxing atmosphere where you can actually talk to each other without shouting; a little table to place my purse so that it didn’t have to be on the floor; even a doggie bag with more treats! We will definitely be back!
