Restaurants near The Continental NYC

Looking for a good Americanish restaurant near Penn station that we could eat dinner at 4 or 4:30. I found so many that seemed good but disappointed with their reviews Everything about The Harold restaurant not only sounded great but WAS GREAT. Valerie, our waitress could not have been more accommodating. She described some items we asked about and most importantly made sure that our entrees were not served before we finished our appetizers and 1st drinks. She came over twice after we received the entrees and was not intrusive. In fact I wanted more of the delicious sauce on the chat cauliflower and it appeared in minutes. I am not particularly fond of cauliflower but loved the way they were browned and the sauce was amazing. My husband also used it on his calamari. The guac was great as were the dips in the Mediterranean flight. Husband had the fish and chips and ate every morsel. Altho probably difficult to believe from above review, but I am fairly thin and a picky eater. Evening ended with the manager- think his name is Ernesto- kindly taking Pictures of the 3 of us.

Just wanted to say it was the perfect place to welcome our out of town family to the city . Nice round table , not too close to others, good menu for everyone to find something . Attentive service . Festive . And good food . Thank you . It is hard to get reservations around the Christmas holiday , and it was nice to feel embraced

Food was exceptional and service flawless!!! David was our server and was very attentive but not overbearing and was also very knowledgeable about the food and its ingredients. A spot not to miss while in NYC!

The service was absolutely phenomenal, yet again! Perfect for the Holidays! The Hostesses were friendly and welcoming - they read my notes which I appreciated. Our server was the cherry on top, knowing exactly what drink I wanted without any explanation—most places, I have to describe what a Kerryoael is, but he nailed it right away. Loved that little detail. Plus, getting extra salted nuts was a fun little bonus! I’ll definitely be back again!

One of the best Korean bbq places I have been to. No complaints here! Must go!
