Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation.     My wife and I had a terrific Valentine’s Day dinner and drinks. The prix-fixe menu options were excellent. The oysters, tuna tar-tar, strip steak were done perfectly. The bread pudding was possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. My wife’s halibut may have been a touch overdone—but just a touch and that’s only relative to everything else being absolutely perfect. The service was prompt, courteous and pro-active. The atmosphere and large table in a cozy nook was perfect, too. Highly recommend!

    The hostess was extremely kind and accommodating and sat us inside when our reservation was for outdoor seating. It was pretty cold outside and the vibe was very quiet. They were extremely packed and managed to find us a great table for 2 inside where it was very energetic and fun. Great atmosphere! Our waiter was great, the food was exceptional and I would visit again. This was my first time dining at Forbes Mill. Great experience!

    Incredible food and top-notch service! The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the experience even better. Paella Negra was a standout—flavorful and beautifully presented. The ambiance was cozy & elegant at the same time which is perfect for celebrations Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
