The food is excellent and prices are amazingly inexpensive for whats served. Whats good? Everything I have eaten there. Walleye dishes include preperation other than deep fried. Choices like with wine and garlic sauce, and portions are large. For $23, it's amazing. Most places in Rochester charge 27 to $30 for deep fried. I have eaten there a number of times and it has always been fantastic.

Great server-very attentive and proactive. Potato skin appetizer was delicous. Lamb entree was super tender and flavorful.

The food, service and ambience were outstanding at Chester’s. Our entire table enjoyed different walleye dishes and everyone was very happy with their entrees. Desserts were generous and delicious. The restaurant was crowded with large holiday groups but the overall noise level was moderate, snd for once I did not have trouble hearing my table mates conversation. Devin was an efficient and personable server and the manager stopped by our table to ensure we were being taken care of. Outstanding food, great service.

Pappy's has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. Sheila and Chris provide a welcoming environment with updated decor that's classy and fresh. Their staff is friendly, providing great service. The menu has a mix of classic and new items with daily specials. Always good food!
