- DDanielSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined 1 day agoHad to place our entire order at once — server wouldn’t take drink order first, so around 45 minutes into the reservation, wine finally came out. Went on a Tuesday and the noise level was insane. Could hardly hear my dinner date unless nearly shouting. Acoustics of the space are just awful. Food was pretty good, though, garlic bread was like a savory cinnamon roll, pizza was decent. Not sure I’d return though, given the experience itself.More infoSenecaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- SshaniquaSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI am beyond satisfied with my experience. I had been waiting for a year for the chance to have this experience. So when I randomly caught an open reservation I had to take it. The food was amazing, the beef short rib was amazingly tender. I was honestly drawn to the ambience and was blown away. The snow falling at the top of the hour was a great addition. We walked the venue and took lots of pictures as well.More infoinsideOUTPrice: Expensive• Californian• Hillcrest•4.8
- MMariaSan Diego •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoCame here after reading reviews from other diners. I can say this restaurants lives up to the 5 star hype. We had a large party of 7 to celebrate a birthday. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and had good recommendations from the menu. I do like they have a pretty robust seafood selection. Our table started off with mussels and clams and the crab cakes appetizers -- both were delicious. I have the Fisherman's Stew, which was excellent and very hearty. The portions are generous and I ended taking the other half home. I think this is a great place for a casual dinner where the food is still excellent without having to get all dressed up. There's also a large patio area and I can see that being lively during the summer. This is a solid place and I definitely recommend!More infoLemon Grove BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Lemon Grove•4.9
- MMatthiasSan Diego •5 reviews5.0Dined on 30 Dec 2024My wife and I had such a great evening at Giardino Neighborhood Cucina in Lemon Grove. The food was incredible – the Pappardelle Bolognese was rich and flavorful, the Tiramisu was perfect, and the wine selection really brought everything together. Roberto, our server, was amazing—so friendly and attentive. After dinner, we checked out Zest, the wine bistro right next door, owned by the same people as Giardino. Heather was working there and gave us great recommendations for wine, making it a perfect way to end the night. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food, awesome service, and a great spot to relax with a glass of wine, Giardino and Zest are a winning combo. We can’t wait to come back!More infoGiardino Neighborhood CucinaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lemon Grove•4.7
