Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life. Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. Our first visit was in December of 2023. We now have a year long history of consistently exceptional dining at Matteo. The food is delicious, not overly fussy and tastes like love. Cocktails are amazing and I don't have adequate words for the desserts. You should try them all! The staff is super welcoming and engaged (much appreciation to Bruno, Elizabeth and Mirsad, for making it feel like home). The new location has taken things next level IMO and the added bonus of valet parking made all the difference last Friday when it felt like everyone was in downtown SLC.
