Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. Homemade house guacamole, or one of the many soup or salad options, make for a great starter. The entree options are plentiful. Casa Vega serves everything from traditional chicken mole, a plethora of burrito options, combination plates and specialty options, such as carne chile Colorade and the signature Casa Vega molcajete. Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks.     I loved everything about my experience, great drinks, amazing service, good atmosphere. I’d give 5 stars across the board but wish they had more vegan and gluten free options. I ended up just having a salad which was good but wasn’t enough for a dinner (adding nuts or mushrooms would have been nice but wasn’t available). Lastly parking with validation for a just shy of 4 hours was $37. That is ridiculous.

    Went for a friend's birthday as a group of six. Highly recommend having a group that you can share all the delicious tapas and taste some of everything. Everything we ordered was delicious and spaced out really nicely at 3 to 4 plates at a time. Really impressed with the menu and the chef. Variety was great and we had plenty to order as vegetarians. Really looking forward to go back.

    Le Petit Trois in the Valley has become our weekly or sometimes twice weekly restaurant that just keeps getting better. The menu is evolving and every dish is very tasty and consistent. Felicitations Chef Ludo!
