- DDanCumbria •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had really nice Christmas lunch. Food was great, as were the staff. Also a good atmosphere, with music and everyone smiling and enjoying themselves. Hadn't been before, so will be good to go back when it's warmer and have a look around the marina at the same time.More infoThe Boathouse | Bar & RestaurantPrice: Moderate• British• Windermere•4.2
- CClareLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoA really enjoyable evening in delightful surroundings. The service was friendly and efficient and the food very good. The mezza and meat skewers were the favourites as was the generous serving of baklava. Can also recommend the rhubarb cocktails! We sat at a round table which was perfect for conversation.More infoOPA Greek RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Greek• Windermere•4.5
- AAnnNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined on 15 Nov 2024We both chose the set menu. 3 courses with good options was excellent value for money. The prawn cocktail was particularly good. The highlight was the sticky toffee dessert which I can honestly say is the best I have ever had. Choices for the main course were not overly exciting but beautifully presented. I opted for the haddock served in a cheese sauce which I enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly but non intrusive. The dining room was full yet we were served promptly and made to feel welcome. The dining room itself is a special treat overlooking the lake.More infoThe Lakeview Restaurant at Macdonald Old England HotelPrice: Expensive• British• Windermere•4.3
