- GGenevievePhiladelphia County •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHubby and I went to Anthony's for our Valentine's dinner, and we were not disappointed. We ate in the upstairs dining area, and we loved the rustic atmosphere, with its old stone walls and the wall of wine bottles. The calamari was probably the best we've ever had, if not the best. My husband's salmon was perfect, and I had the filet mignon. I was a little worried that ordering filet mignon from an Italian restaurant instead of a steak house might not be wise. I had nothing to worry about. It was excellent! Perfectly cooked to medium rare, as I requested, and topped with a delicious mushrooms sauce. Our only complaint was that we were too full to finish it there. But not to worry, we boxed up the leftovers, and are looking forward to enjoying them again at home! Love this place.More infoAnthony's Cucina FrescaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downingtown•4.7
- MMichaelVIPPhiladelphia County •17 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOutstanding meal on Valentine's day. The tables for two are very small which made the meal a bit challenging at times but the food was great. Everything arrived hot and fresh and, considering it was a holiday and they were crowded, the time between ordering and receiving an appetizer and between that and the meal was not unusual. We did not feel we were waiting too long nor that we were rushed. Hard to hear our server and his accent was strong, which made communication a bit difficult, but we managed and he was excellent. The restaurant has panels on the ceiling in, I guess, an effort to reduce noise. However, they are hard panels. If they draped them in some fabric, it might help more. Overall a very enjoyable meal, big portions - enough to bring home for a second meal, reasonable pricing (BYOB is nice although they do have their own wine and cocktail menu. We brought our own wine which helped the overall cost, too). We will definitely return.More infoTrattoria La TavolaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Kennett Square•4.7

Got the lobster tail for appetizer, lobster ravioli, and the veal parmigiana! Once we got our bill we were told “someone took care of it” so thankful and surprised. Staff were great, good was great we will absolutely be back!More infoLa VeronaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Kennett Square•4.5
