- CChrisMinneapolis - St. Paul •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our first time at Beatrix but certainly won't be our last. Food and service were both top notch. We were there for brunch. Dinner is not served until after 3pm. It is a vibrant atmospher so if you looking for intimate and quiet this is probably not the spot but if you want great food and service in a fun spot, this is the place. We will be back to try the dinner menu soon.More infoBeatrix - Oak BrookPrice: Moderate• American• Oak Brook•4.7

- JJillKansas City / Kansas •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was my second time in Chicago and my second visit to this Gibson's location. It was a Saturday night so it was packed and the ambiance was very energetic. It was loud, as expected, but it was not annoyingly loud. The food was outstanding, everything from the salads to the dessert. The hustle and bustle of the wait staff was constant. My only, I won't even calling a complaint, I will say my annoyance with the evening was the way I felt rushed by the gentleman who put the bread plates out and cleared cups and dishes. We weren't even done with our salads or dinners or dessert and he was asking to clear the plates. For what I paid for those dinners I was not going to let him throw any of it away. I felt as soon as we sat down he was throwing bread plates in front of us, literally throwing. I had wine left and he took my glass away. I understand that tables need to be turned over but it's not like we were done and paid for and just sitting wasting time. We were still eating and drinking. I was meeting my family who drove 300 miles to meet us in Chicago to watch my son in a sports tournament. We wanted to enjoy our evening for a few hours together. Overall it was a fantastic evening and we will definitely go back next time we're in Chicago, but it's the little things like that that can ruin a celebratory dinner.More infoGibsons Bar & Steakhouse - Oak BrookPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Oak Brook•4.8

- GGaryLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is a stunning restaurant. I haven’t been in surroundings like this since my days globetrotting as a working professional. Buddah Bar in Paris is the one that first comes to mind as a comparison. The service was flawless and my companion was wowed. I felt great.
