Restaurants near South Beach Plaza Villas

Excellent authentic Italian style dinner wjth great service and tasty dishes. We sat outside which was a bonus and had a lively date night. We chose this restaurant because we were in Positano in September and the decor and food were nice reminders and somewhat of a replica of the Italian city and experience! Only reason 4 stars was the expense and not prepared for $350 bill for just the two of us. Granted we had a bottle of wine -which unfortunately they don’t offer enough in price range of 20-40. All that said, it was a great night and ambience was very nice.

Delicious! Love the beets and labneh! Our server somewhat overestimated how hungry we would be, so we ended up with too much food (two women splitting 3 appetizers, salmon, and rice, could have done without the rice) but it was delicious!

A celebration of how to eat well! Beautiful food, fantastic staff and efficient service. Lots of cheerful customers, delicious food, and desserts to die for!

The setting in the Versace mansion is perfect. The fountain, pool, tile work, statues and tapestries are the perfect setting for traditional Italian dining. The ocean air breeze flowing over the open southern wall by the pool perfectly complements the vibe in this ristorante with an authentic trattoria feel. Somehow, I wasn’t even annoyed by the constant picture taking of influencers and other diners as the setting is more like - how could you not? The medium rare lamb chops and truffle gnocchi were perfect. The desserts are a demonstration of the talent of both the chef and the servers. Try the tiramisu to see what I mean.
