    It’s twice now that we have been at Next Door to explore the newly designed menu; and it’s twice that we have been absolutely delighted by the food, service, and overall experience. The first time was in November where our server Alex help guide us through the new menu choices; deftly helping us select the right items (we are a little picky when it comes to seafood). Tonight we had the joy of having Laura as our server. She help us to explore different aspects of the menu and specifically helped us pair our beverage selections to the food (especially the Chardonnay which I have come back to loving because of Next Doors lightly oaked options). The overall culinary experience was exquisite. Give their new menu a try. You won’t regret it.

    Wonderful music by Marco Amadio during dinner on Thursday night. His voice was amazingly smooth. French haddock with shrimp as a special entree for the evening was fantastic. My wife’s filet was tender and the panko-crusted potato hash was delicious. Great service from Steve! This restaurant’s food is the best in metro Rochester.
