Restaurants near Setterquist Park

We went for a quick breakfast before a day of wine tasting. We were seated quickly, staff was friendly and the service was good. We had coffee and tea while we waited for our meals. The food came fairly quick and as expected. We had a good meal and would go back the next time we are at The Mertiage, it’s convenient and tasty.

Food was excellent. Great flavors. Great service. Had octopus salad, Brussels sprouts, Parpadelle Bolognese, brownie a la mode, banana cheesecake, tempura olives. All were excellent. Recommended for sure.

Bella Siena is our go-to spot for celebrating any special occasion. The food and service never disappoint. Since it was Valentine's Day we splurged and ordered the lamb tenderloins. So good! My husband doesn't like garlic mashed potatoes, but there was no hesitation when we requested a substitute. Our other entree was the salmon, which was perfectly grilled and served with a hash of spinach, onions, and roasted potatoes. I liked that better than the lamb. For dessert, we split the chocolate mousse cake. If we'd been at home, we would have licked the plate. We were not seated at the window, but still had a nice water view.

When we checked in with hostess she said, Whose birthday is it? Once seated the staff brought to the table a lovely handwritten birthday card. Though we chose not to order dessert they brought an irresistible vanilla ice cream with lit candle to complete my celebration. Service was impeccable. The waiter was able to say “yes” to each request. The halibut upon a bed of lentil and carrot was divine. They offered a “house wine” that was red, a Cabernet Sauvignon. It was excellent. This restaurant has their act together. No wonder almost every seat was filled.

Our server was great. Regrettably, I do not recall her name. She was very welcoming. She allowed us to take our time to order. But after we ordered, our food came quickly.
