Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. Housed in the beautiful Victorian home of Ognisko Polskie club the restaurant is focusing on the cuisines eastern and Central Europe. The bar is open all day serving light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. Ognisko’s bar serves a wide range of fruit and spice -infused vodkas, classic cocktails and a small range boutique beers from regional Polish breweries. The restaurant can sit up to 80 guests together with a terrace overlooking communal gardens seating up to 40. There is also a large events space on the first floor available for daytime conferences, weddings and corporate events.

Traditional Chinese restaurant situated in Knightsbridge popular with locals as well as business types and the shopped out from Harrods. The decor is all oriental splendour and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. What's cooking? Traditional Chinese fare. Signature dishes include crispy fragrant duck, steamed seabass and mixed seafood platter. Plenty of vegetarian choices with faux chicken and prawn dishes and a monk's casserole - a mixture of preserved and fresh vegetables cooked in a clay pot. Booked a table for 6. On arrival offered an entertainment room upstairs where it was lounge seating and you could play your own music. It was fun but with hindsight we missed out on a restaurant vibe and there was live music downstairs too. Good was really good but it thought it was expensive. Great location as we were heading to NHM after for silent disco.

Pravaas proved to be a great choice for a Friday night out in Kensington. Indian food made special by their attention to detail and variety of dishes. The Waiter was so helpful and knew all about the food. Ambience delightful in a cosy setting.
